Waste2Wear: recovered fibre in, finished garment out
Waste2Wear is ZER0's circular programme, designed and delivered end to end from recovered fibre through to finished garment. The document carries five fibre systems, eight collections built on them, the twelve product categories the base covers, and what each of the five production origins actually makes.
five fibre systems
Each line in the architecture is a fibre system rather than a name, and what a programme needs decides which one it runs on. Z-TEC is biodegradable recycled PET with blockchain traceability. Z-MELD blends recycled PET and biodegradable recycled PET with recycled post-industrial waste cotton. Z-ENZO is recycled cotton with new age viscose and cellulosic and biodegradable fibre. Z-EON is organic or regenerative cotton with rPET and recycled post-industrial waste cotton, carrying traceability. Z-BLU is recycled denim and faux denim.
Colour is carried at fibre wherever the system allows it, which is what keeps a recycled programme out of the wet dyeing stage.

Yin-Yang on Z-TEC, black and white blends with balance as the idea. Disruptive Neutral Grounds on Z-TEC, a rustic and grainy hand in earthy neutrals. Cool Winter on Z-MELD, autumn hues carried through to winter frost. Nautical on Z-MELD, red, blue and white, ship deck and anchor. Rustic Modernism on Z-ENZO, natural texture and new age cellulose with commercial ease. Sea Breeze on Z-EON, ocean blues against a serene off-white. Earthy on Z-EON, slow living, minimal and grounded. Calico Copy on Z-BLU, the look and feel of denim without the dependency.

Twenty three partner factories across five countries, described by what each origin makes rather than by how many addresses carry the name. India, 16 facilities, high mix, lower MOQ, fibre to garment. Bangladesh, three, woven bottoms, underwear, casual and performance. Sri Lanka, one, seam sealed and functional outdoor. Myanmar, one, functional outdoor and workwear. China, two partner factories and one sourcing affiliate. Facilities are named under MOU; capability and country are stated, the address is not.
twelve categories, one standard
Casual wovens, outerwear, active and athleisure, sleepwear, home textiles, lounge, woven bottoms, knitwear, innerwear, kids, denim, and swim and beach. The knit base is vertical, fibre to yarn to knit to dye to finish to garment inside one group, with 1,200 tonnes of knit a month and 700 embroidery heads across the cluster, which is why traceability runs the whole chain without a gap.
Materials named are organic and regenerated cotton, recovered cotton, GRS certified recycled polyester, Tencel, modal, lyocell, bamboo and linen, with chemical-free dyeing and laser finishing.
